* The American company 3M have acquired E Wood Limited,
producers of Pyrotech intumescent coatings. The new
Company is called 3M E Wood and the products will come under the
Scotchkote profile.
* PPG who acquired Ameron in 2007 have now acquired Sigma
Coatings. Any changes to products have yet to be
announced.
* The assets of Bolloms having gone into receivership, have been
acquired by Tor Coatings of Durham, part of the RPM Group.
They will be marketing the original Bollom range initially.

FPSI Limited is proud to announce the release
of Steelcalc version 5.
This new version
features many enhanced facilities and several new ones. Our
thanks go to the many dedicated users who continue to explore and
feedback vital user information, inspiring even more effective and
accessible processes that now culminate in this latest exciting
release.
We have also added support for the new Windows Vista operating system,
improving the usability of Steelcalc even more.
All products have been brought up to date with the ASFP Yellow Book
